About Brown Deer
The Village of Brown Deer is a diverse community that believes in the value of a good education, family and friends, well maintained properties and pleasant surroundings. Brown Deer works to serve and provide the best quality of life for it’s 12,000 residents.
On the south side of the village is Brown Deer Park. This 360 acre park offers tons of activities from a full 18 hole golf course, driving range, a disc golf course, and a loop around the park that is perfect for walking. The park also has volleyball courts, soccer fields, sledding hills for the winter months, and a baseball diamond. Brown Deer park is very well maintained and is a great spot to take the family for a nice day out.
Just outside of Brown Deer is the Lynden Sculpture Garden. This garden has more than 50 sculptures on display, each with their own unique style and statement. Admission is reasonably priced and the garden is open every day except Thursdays. The Brown Deer Farmer’s Market offers locally grown produce right in your neighborhood! The market also runs events throughout the season which provide live music and great times for those of all ages. Located on N. Green Bay road across from the Brown Deer Marketplace, the farmer’s market is easy to find.
Located in the northern part of Milwaukee County, Brown Deer is always just a short drive away from the atmosphere of the big city.
